The training focuses on the techniques and maneuvers to be mastered to ride a motorcycle, as well as on the behavior of the motorcyclist. It is based on a safe, cooperative, and responsible driving approach.

CYCLOMOTORS - ONLY FOR GASPÉ
The driving course has a minimum duration of 6 hours, distributed as follows:
- Theoretical instruction of 3 hours duration
- Practical instruction in a closed circuit lasting 3 hours, the last half hour of which is used to evaluate the student
- Self-learning outside the driving school
The theoretical teaching must be completed before starting the practical teaching.
SELF-EDUCATION
Before attending his driving course, the learner must have familiarized themselves with the guide «Driving a Moped» and the «Road Guide», especially to learn the rules of traffic and road signs. These two guides complement the driving course. The theoretical exam administered at the SAAQ service center takes into account the content presented in these two guides.
